Hi all, just got another toy. 54 F100 original owner, 40K miles sitting in a yard for the last 20 years. Gonna keep it stock bumper to bumper if possible, Got it started for a few minutes which is incredible. Got a million questions Firstly whats the best resource that could provide me with what "stock" was back then?. Does anyone make stock OEM rims riveted 16" x 4.5? (Yes, I do want to have a set of bias plys for shows) Is the stock upper radiator hose one piece or two straight sections with a metal elbow? (mine has a metal elbow) Who sells the best sheet metal, best meaning closest to original fit and gauge? Does anyone out there specialize in replicating old upholstery?
I saw they have a lot of tire options but nothing in a stock two piece rim riveted, I cleaned out the 15 years of debris in the bed of the truck and found one original rim, so three more to go.
