rear Drum to disc conversion

99 f150 rear brake swap
Hi I am interested in doing something like this. I have a 99 150 with rear disc brakes, Always Been good but my differential exploded so I need a new rear end and I found an exact match for cheap but has drum breaks. So I was wondering if I can just swap them out with each other without having a kit?

What I found is the mounting bosses on the differential for the drum and disc assemblies are different as well as the parking brake cable, master cylinder proportioning valve and ABS control module.
You'll be extremely dissatisfied with the way it brakes after having rear disc brakes. I'd either go to a rear end shop and have them transplant or wait for a disc axle.

Anybody can show me correct way to disc on wheel hub inside or outside cause I read of your post mostly are older truck tend to put wheelhub out while disc are inside therefore my truck is 1990 is that wheelhub inside while disc are outside? I need to see picture when i type up search mostly words not what I look for... Just look for image or picture none are pull up....
