I’m not interested in a tuner, but it would be nice to be able to set the idle up. In the summer, keep the A/C cold, winter for heat, few extra rpm for volts.
What do you guys think?

I have one of these in the 97. It works great. With the manual tranny the controller comes on when the E-brake is applied. You can adjust the rpm of the engine with it. I would guess the item you showed works like a high idle on a chip.
