I’m going to replace my 18” steel spare with an OEM takeoff 20”. It’s a black painted alloy from the Sport Pkg. I need a TPMS sensor for the new wheel. Anybody know which sensors are on the truck from the factory? I see a TPMS-42, is that the right one?
Are you sure you want to put a sensor in the spare? It doesn't come with one. Even if you did put one in, the on-board system will read/manage only four sensors.
If you use the spare in your rotation schedule, that's a different matter.

Before buying a Ford sensor, give your local tire store a try. I have been buying sensors for my aftermarket wheels in my other vehicles from my local Discount Tire. They reprogram them right then and there and if they don't work, it's on them. At the very least, the store should be able to program the new sensor into the mix to verify it works, then program the four regular sensors so that the new fifth sensor isn't seen by the on-board computer. You need to make sure they don't read one of the existing sensors and copy it's ID to the new sensor. That would confuse everything.
One more thing: There may be a downside to using a single aftermarket sensor. It may report a pressure that is slightly off from the OEM sensors. I've seen this happen and I know of no way to tweak the sensor to report a pressure value that is +/- what it normally would.
