55 ford 6 Id
i have a 6 cyl out of a 55 F100. It appears to be a later engine. Where do I find the ID numbers on the engine??

Numbers are on the driver side on the block just above the oil pan

It has the perimeter bolts. Are the other parts, i.e., manifolds, heads , etc interchangeable with early 6's?

With the perimeter bolts that at least tells me it the later version cylinder head. Manifolds interchange from early to late no problems
