73 F100 XLT unknown component
Does anyone know what this is? This was soldered onto the fuse box. One wire went under and the other wire was around a screw. Is it essential? Thanks.

Something added by a previous owner. May be a filter to get rid of static buzz in the radio, it's unnecessary.
