Interesting how we can have significantly different experiences with lift kits. I installed the Readylift 2.5 myself with trackbar bracket. I bought the castor shims but haven't installed them yet. In fact, due to my work schedule, I haven't aligned the front end yet. I installed Fox BDS shocks and the 001 Fox SS. It drives perfectly, with no bump steer, and tracks straight as an arrow.
The ride is firmer but feels planted to the road and the Fox SS took away the slight bump steer. It's a pleasure to drive now where before it would bounce over 4 inches after hitting slight pot holes in the road. I am still on stock wheels with 275/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers running around 65 PSI.
Those guys talking about the BDS shocks, and the all over the road ride, are referring to the shocks that come with the kit if you dont upgrade to the BDS FOX shocks.
I know Ford, in their TSB on sustained steering wheel oscillation, says to dial in less caster, but that goes against the advice of every other source. Additional caster is almost always suggested when lifting, sometimes even while stock to improve performance.
I know you dont have death wobble, but heres a video I watched earlier that shows some things that get loose on these trucks. Also talks about caster a little bit. Ignore the sales pitch.
I do have the "upgraded" BDS fox shocks, I don't believe its the shocks creating the truck to wander and bump steer. I also have the "upgraded" fox steering stabilizer...I just gave up I think its just the nature of these trucks... I also think that people that say the truck doesn't wonder or bump steer maybe don't know better lol.

I misunderstood, thought you had the same shocks, and same experience with them as post #9. In his case, I would have to believe it was the BDS branded shocks, not the BDS FOX.
My truck is completely stock, and yes it wanders and has bump steer. I might start with a steering stabilizer some day, maybe have the alignment checked. It really doesn't bother me much.
