bubble test results

I ran the bubble test today. Drove my truck 20 miles for warm up. Pulled into the garage removed degass bottle cover and installed stopper and tube. I was getting 1 small bubble every 2-3 seconds. Disconnected the turbo VGT wire, bubbles essentially went to zero... I let the truck run for another 4 -5 minutes, no change. Plugged the VGT wire back in, bubble rate again stayed at zero. Correct me if I am wrong here but I am taking these results as an indication that I have no issue with the EGR cooler or head gaskets. The EGR results are supported by the appearance of my EGR valve when I pulled it for cleaning last week (a small amount dry carbon, no goo, no moist carbon)

yes, thank you, This is where I got the procedure that I followed.

To check even further you would look a mechanical gauge and go for ride do a few wot runs

But yours sounds ok

next on my list of "things to do" is triple pillar gauge set for EGT, fuel pressure and engine coolant pressure.. Most everything else I need to see I can check on my Scan Gauge
