2001 7.3 F350. New IPR, ICP, CPS all Motorcraft. New Batteries as well. Fresh stage 2 injectors (180/100’s). PHP turner with FFD tunes.
Have hydraulic line with gauge hooked to it and it takes a good 8 seconds of cranking before reaching >500 PSI. I used line to check for leaks at the heads with shop air, both heads would hold 80 PSI for 10 seconds (longest I wanted to jump the IPR). When running the pressures look good. Only codes are for AIH and EPB (both deleted).
Cylinder 2 fails contribution test. Otherwise buzz test and all other running data looks good to me. Truck runs great once started.
Running out of ideas, hoping the great minds here may have some.
Sounds like a high pressure oil leak, most likely the injector or-rings. You can remove the valve covers and run the engine while inspecting the base of the injectors where they meet the head. If one is leaking you will see the oil blowing out right there.

I agree, pulled both valve covers off and couldn’t see any indication of leaks. Installed the ipr test plug and tested oil ports on heads at 110 psi, took 2 minutes for pressure to drop to 90. Dead headed pump and it quickly jumps to 2000 psi when cranking.
i doubt it will help but may try switching old IPR in to see if I got a bad unit when replacing.
