2017 F150, 18" or 20"?
Hey guys, I'm currently have an '05 F150 FX4 with the factory 18" wheels, which I JUST put new LT305/65-18 Falkens on. I'm buying this '17 F150 and I want to put these Grid GD7 wheels on it, but I'm racking my brain over "18s vs. 20s". My plan is to have the GD7 wheels for spring/summer/fall and put the factory wheels back on for salty winter driving. I would really like to not have to buy ANOTHER new set of tires but if I have to, I have to. My question is, should I get the new wheels in 18s or 20s? I plan to run the 305 width either way. Any opinions? I should add, I would prefer to leave it stock height. Thanks- Dan

It's down to personal preference. If you off-road then the smaller diameter tire with more sidewall will be more forgiving, otherwise it comes down to looks.
I went with 305/55/20s because I like the look much better and the truck came with 20s stock. Some like balloon tires, some like the mall-crawlers...it's up to you if you're not into off-road.
These are mine, I also have a small lift in the back and 2" in the front.
