My fuel pick up foot is broke in my truck. I'm getting ready to replace it. But my fuel gauge gets messed up if I put fuel into the truck while it is running or ignition on. Is there anything i can do to remedy this?
The software is setup to make it so tank slosh does not make the fuel level go all over the place every time the fuel sloshes around in the tank.
So you need to change the amount in the tank by a given percent (I don't recall the %). If you just putting in a small amount it will take up to
30 minutes for the gauge to settle down and show the correct amount. There is no way to change this. So key off and add more than 10 gallons.
