Need 58 right vent cable

Has any one seen or have a right vent cable for sale. Its the long side black or white ****.

B7C-8101890-A .. Right & Left Vent Cable / Obsolete

1957/58 F100/1100 & C550/1100 Tilt Cabs.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any, not reproduced AFAIK

Seeming as you said you would take a black or white ****; I assume you don’t really need original. You could always try a heavy duty choke cable.

What was different? So many parts were the same you would think air vents would have been unchanged.

I was also thinking they were the same other then white or black ****. PM me and I will buy it and I should be able to buy a new **** if needed.

How long is your cable? I'll be gone tomorrow but can measure this one Thursday. Mine is about 53.5" from back of escutcheon to coiled end.

Looks like 53" will work. I do not have an old one to compare

**** was only furnished with the cable, so how will you be able to swap the ****...and what **** could you use if you don't have one?

ND, what is the difference between the cable you quoted and the right cable I have? I think he is missing his cable and wants to buy my extra from '59. Mine has white ****, escutcheon and nut. And another question. You quoted one part number for right and left cable. Were they cut to size and end coiled? My left cable is something like two feet shorter.

OP asked for a 1958 cable, 1957 is the same. 1959/60 is different.

B9C-8101890-A .. Right Vent Cable - 53 1/2" long // Obsolete

Parts Catalog says: Use this cable for the left, but "cut to fit."

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any, none on ebay.
