2016 f150 sync3 no nav
Hello , I have a 2016 F150 XLT with the SYNC 3 with no navigation. I purchased the truck this summer and love it. The SYNC 3 is version 1.0 build date15139. I tried to up date it using the Ford online down load to the 3.0, however it will not work. I understand that I must first download 2.2 for non nav, but I can not seem to find it.
Does anyone know where I can find it ?

I hope I dont have to that route , I have two recalls, I contacted my Ford dealer in August of 19 and they me scheduled in October of 2020 ! I can imagine what having them update my SYNC 3 will be like! I am hoping someone on this site has the 2017 2.2 non nav update .

Thank you GABAR, I appreciate your suggestion . I tried the version 3.0 but, I get an message saying"Installation failed , The installation has run out of space or does not work with this version".. I even spoke with a "Ford Tech' on the owner/ford Sync update site.. He was less than helpful.. So I did a multiple Ford truck/F150 forum site search and it seems as if my truck with the lowly software version1.0 , must fist be updated to the 2.2 version first , then to the 3.0 version..
