Death wobble

My 2007 F 250 recently had a very bad Death Wobble. It has done it twice within a week. Haven't driven it since. Anyone got any ideas on this problem.

Check every single moving part on your front end.....tie rods, ball joints, track bar, steering stabilizer, even the pitman arm. Something is wore out, most likely a combination of parts.

Disconnect the steering stabilizer while you are looking for loose parts.

Lot of people forget also check shocks, they typically need replacement every 30,000 miles.

I've had several vehicles have issues because of bad/worn out/blown shocks including one of my previous trucks uncontrollable death wobble.

When your checking all the parts don't forget the tires, give them a spin to make sure they are round and don't have any belts starting to separate.

I was just going to add check for out of balance wheel/tire assemblies. My 96 had DW and it was either one or both front tires, can't remember exactly.

Your truck is 13 years old.. Check bushings in the radius arms and track bar. If you have a lift, go to an alignment shop that works on 4x4s, and have them check for the correct axle angle and steering geometry. if you need bushings, get the energy suspension polyurethane...
