So I just recently purchased my new to me F250. It has the keypad on the door but for the life of me I can’t find the code anywhere from every video I’ve seen on YouTube. I’ve looked everywhere, how else can I get the code. Unfortunately I also only have 1 key as well, so can’t use that method.
besides dealer what other options do I have ?
thanks in advance
You could try this to see if it works, as I believe it is applicable to our trucks. As tortue71 also said, FORScan will also work.
Using the Integrated Keyhead Transmitters
You can display the factory-set code in the information display, but to do this, you will need two programmed passive anti-theft keys. Make sure you have a pen and paper or have a smartphone cam ready in photo mode.
Insert one key into the ignition and switch on for a few seconds.
Then remove the key and repeat with the second key.
Sometimes, before the factory-set code will display other warning messages will appear, and then for a few seconds the factory code.
Either write down the code or take a quick photo of it.
Using Intelligent Access Keys
To display the factory-set code in the information display, you will need both programmed intelligent access keys.
Slide the first programmed key in the backup slot inside the center console.
Make sure the key ring is at the tip, and the buttons are facing the rear.
Now press the START/STOP button once, wait a few seconds and then press it again and then remove the key.
Now slide out the key and slide in the second key and press the START/STOP button.
Sometimes, before the factory-set code will display other warning messages will appear, and then for a few seconds the factory code.
Either write down the code or take a quick photo of it.

Try looking in your owners manual case in the glove box. There was a slip a paper in mine with the 5 digit code that belongs to the truck. I used the Sync screen to change to a number that the wife and I agreed on.
I’ve been reading on forscan, still seems intimidating but I may break down and learn it.
That would be optimal mainly becuse it opens the door to a world of the “little things” you want to change. That said, there’s a good chance someone in your area would help you out if you are in or near a large city.
I searched and peeked all around the passenger side kick panel, I can’t find the code and honestly don’t even know what the BCM looks like. On my previous ford I found it easily.
i looked through all the paperwork as well, no where to be found.
I would suggest getting a second Key fob, have them reprogrammed and issue a new door code...I wouldnt feel comfortable knowing theres a key fob out there and one day i walk outside and my truck is gone. pay once, cry once

can I also do this with forscan ?
driving to San Antonio and truck shows 3 admin keys 😳

I expand that suggestion and recommend getting 2 additional key fobs, have dealer delete all current keys and program your 3.
That way you will have 2 if you loose one. You need 2 to program an additional key yourself.
