11870 +/- I just had a fuel pump start going out about 3 weeks ago. I didn't have a fuel gauge to monitor and I lost #1 injector. I have a gauge now. I'm Hoping it didn't hurt any more.It runs smooth at idle and speed. New filters and oil change with Hot Shot.
205K, 2005 F250, original injectors, moible one tdt. Most of its life, now rotella t6, only used archiol addtitive once, stadadyne fuel additive during winter
Can be a lot of things, from hard starting, to smoke, to a melted engine
Im going to get FORSCAN and run a cylinder contribution test soon to see if an injector or two are out of balance with the others
Side-bar, does the free version of ForScan allow this? I had gotten ForSCAN and the Wifi Adapter for my Ecoboost and didn't know it did 6.0 things too. That's awesome if it does as I was looking at getting IDS or a clone.
It won't do a full contribution test but it will pickup contribution/balance codes thrown by a 6.0. I had a bad injector from a pump going bad and it showed a contribution/balance code for that cylinder.
