Replace or remove red and green lines???

Hey guys I'm trying to find boost leaks and my red and green lines are leaking at every connection. Cant find any boost leaks with those hissing like crazy , they are falling apart. I found a thread about deleting them but it was kinda a dead end. Is there a way to cap the spider port and the intake port? Or should I just order new lines?

dieselorings.com for the new lines. I've replaced those on 4 trucks in the last year.

For anyone following along in the future, the link below is what Nicmike was referring to.

Diesel-O-Rings Wastegate Vacuum Lines

On a side note, I have the lines in my garage but with the prices that the USPS charges now for shipping you would be better off getting them new from Bob.

WG not required. Don’t worry about he FPR circled in this pic.

Put a screw in the hole for green hose on intake tube.

Leave WG solenoid plugged in for no codes!!

darn, I Googled those lines with diesel O-rings and nothing was coming up. Ended up ordering them from Amazon. They are supposed to be OEM, but if not, I can always return them.
sous I saw the thread you started about removing them, I guess you did that? How did you plug the hole on the spider port?

I would like to second what Jason has said and might have said this earlier if I had been more awake when I posted it....

In the image below (prior to the SXE when running the MST) you can see where I removed the solenoid, tubes and everything. I removed the bracket for the solenoid and then tucked in the valley out of the way and plugged in. I bought a 2" x 2" IH hat pin on eBay and epoxied it to the spider as you can see in the image below. Remember to cap off the small port where the green line went into the intake tube (I think it did anyway...).

It happens, that is why I like to include the link to the suggested vendor when I make a post. This not only removes any questions regarding the part or vendor, but also makes the frustration of fixing your issue easier. It is worth it to me to take an extra few moments to include a link instead of just saying

this is what I was wanting to do.... wow! What a clean engine!! Slightly jealous sous haha.. I tried zooming in and couldn't tell how you capped off the red line nipple on the spider. As far as the green tube on intake I was just going to put a screw in that hole but wasn't sure about the port on the spider. I cant find any boost leaks since my red and green lines are leaking, also the worm clamp that holds intake on the turbo

Thanks, I was sad to see the IH badge go when I installed the SXE, but the move was made on a functional basis not aesthetics.

I used a short screw with sealant around it for the intake as well. I honestly cannot remember what I did for the spider... I think I just used a vacuum hose cap, but not sure. Jason has done quite a bit of these though and will be back shortly.

EDIT: Now I remember, I think... The lines go into the solenoid right? Well, they don't need to be capped because they are no longer in the CAC or Boston system since you removed the lines.
