What is that knock?

Cold engine (first few miles), start in first gear, if I push it a bit, when I get on the clutch to shift in the second I hear a knock. Not sure is coming from the engine compartment or under the cab. Sometime it does it between 2nd and 3th but only if I hammer it. Could it be the transmission, a cv joint, the turbo pipe, should I look at the yoke bearings, the box separating? I got a foot of snow on the truck, so I don’t feel like crawling under right now.

2007 F350 SD 4x4 manual transmission 8ft box, probably one of the last 6L single turbo built, crank windows, no toys... the only "luxury" is the AC.
