Trying to find paint to touch up some areas on the cab as I go through figuring out what I want to do with the paint/bodywork. Is this my best bet for a color match? I've been looking around and haven't been able to find much in the way of this color. If anyone knows of any other options that would be super helpful.
That does give you some of the codes for Marlin Blue. Here's another web site that is handy for getting the codes. Of course, paints have changed a lot since then and the original paint has likely faded some so it's going to be a bit tongue-in-cheek trying to match.
Forgive my ignorance, I'm not familiar with getting paint via codes. Is my best bet to go to a hardware/paint store nearby and see if they can mix some with the given code? Should I order online? I'm not all that concerned with a direct match, I just need it to blend fairly close.
For small touch ups check for a local parts store that does body work supplies and mixes auto paint. They can mix it in a spray can or a small touch up quantity using like an artist brush. This way you can choose a single stage or whatever. Much cheaper this way saves on shipping.

Hardware and many paint stores usually deal in paint designed for wood or other non-automotive finishes. Automotive paint is a whole other animal. I deal with my local Wesco Auto Body supply and like vze said they can mix small batches and put it into spray cans. If that cost scares you wait til you go to have the whole thing repainted.
Good to know, that's helpful. Yeah I think that's why I'm going to stick with touching up where I need to and then clear coating the whole thing more or less as is.
Interpreted into Chinese "I love my trucks patina" and "I can't afford a new paint job" are written exactly the same. Well, at least they look the same to me.
Well, yeah that's about right. I'm a grad student and my disposable income right now is fairly insignificant, especially when it comes to doing this truck justice. I'll get there one day, but for now I'm just trying to get by.
You could do like my dad did and wash the car, get a gallon of paint from wherever and a roller and go for it. next day scrape the paint off the glass and repeat every few years. Not kidding.
Did you happen to find a good source for Marlin Blue? I’d be interested to see the results, I bought a spray cans worth on FleaBay and it doesn’t even look close.
