I'll assume that your lack of mentioning boost or exhaust temp, you have a gasser?
For me, must haves are trans temp, oil pressure and fuel pressure. Never really worried about diff temp, therefore, volts would be higher on my list.
FYI, the GS gauges are fairly picky about voltage....I would get some 12v stabalizers/diodes, whatever they are called, and wire them in per gauge. Mine were freaking out before I did that. Theres a thread on it somewhere. Kind of a pain but worth it. I was towing and my trans temp gauge was going bonkers, spent an hour at a rest stop trying to figure out why. Finally said F it and drove the rest of the way home. Found issue and fixed it.
Also, they have a 3 in 1 gauge. Thinking of changing my setup to that. I have 3 separate below my radio.
I have the MaxTow Double Vision gauges in my truck. Have had them for almost 5 years now I think. I have one that goes bonkers every now and then just as Carbon Coupe stated...it likely is voltage sensitivity related as mentioned. The other 3 gauges have been great...no issues at all in the 5 years I've had them. I seem to remember someone putting out info that GlowShift became aware of the voltage sensitivity problem and fixed it in the ensuing production.

Does anyone know if the Autometer steering column gauge pod will fit the GlowShift gauges?
I wouldn't have to delete any GS gauges. I could fit all five.
Worst case scenario: I can use an Autometer gauge.
I would just get a Scanguage they are only $170 and will monitor trans temp, volts, water temp, oil pressure and several other things, you can see 4 different parameters at once, and you can use it to read and clear codes.

Is this engine or model year specific? I know my 2000 6.8l doesn't have oil pressure or trans temp PIDs.

Works on any 96 and newer OBD2 vehicle. It would read transmission temp on my 2000 F250, wouldn't read oil pressure but you already have a factory gauge for that.

In my 99 F250 V10 I started with a Scangauge 2. It will monitor four gauges at once. If interested I'd be willing to part ways, send me a PM.
Now I have a SCT Liverwire with 5star tunes and run it on Datalog, shows 9 gauges at a time. Later I'll be able to add in a backup camera.
Picture is a couple years old, but still works great.
Trans, Coolant, Voltage, IAT and RPM I typically monitor.

Now that is cool! High Tech! I'm torn, now, between old school, like a plain dial gauge, digital gauges or the in-between GlowShift.
Keep in mind this holds the tunes, clears and reads codes. Has multiple layouts for gauges available too. Plug right into the OBD2 port and good to go.
