mecdac,
Do you have one of these? If so, do you have to unplug it at rest stops when traveling? I'm concerned about battery drainage. If so, I guess I can figure a way to rewire the cigarette lighter so it turns off when I turn off the engine.

Yes, I have one. Upper left corner of the windshield, ran the wire behind the A-pillar trim. You can also buy a pod that makes it appear to be a factory mount on the dash.

I've had the Insight CS in my F250 for 8 years or so. I have the EGT probe, Turbo Timer, and Fuel pressure add on. Other than it not being as cool as the new version I have no complaints about it. It works and it works well.
In my 99 F250 V10 I started with a Scangauge 2. It will monitor four gauges at once. If interested I'd be willing to part ways, send me a PM.
Now I have a SCT Liverwire with 5star tunes and run it on Datalog, shows 9 gauges at a time. Later I'll be able to add in a backup camera.
Picture is a couple years old, but still works great.
Trans, Coolant, Voltage, IAT and RPM I typically monitor.
I just ordered my tune today with the X4. Now you're making me regret not getting the livewire. That thing is nice
