my 2001 ford e150 4.6 engine falls flat on its face when I try to accelerate to the point of almost stalling.i hooked up scanner(no DTC codes) and noticed that on bank 2(STFT<FT) all numbers were negative, which I assumed was computer trying to lean out.i removed all the fuel injectors on that side, cleaned them well and re o-ringed them.put everything back together.now after warming up engine to closed loop I strem live data and STFT is positive numbers 48%....what did I do?last night before doing all this here were exact numbers

can a faulty pressure regulator cause this issue????what should ideal pressure be at fuel rail???pulled off vacuum hose...no fuel in vacuum line...…...ganna test with fuel gauge...…will report back
put fuel gauge on Schrader valve on fuel rail and got noooo pressure???????....is it possible that a brand new fuel pump went bad???ganna check fuses and listen for pump noise in tank....this is maddening any thought would be appreciated
ok guys let me have it...……..trucks run great when they have gas in them.....smh……..in my defense I put a brand new sending unit in gas tank and it showed that truck had fuel...…..learned a lesson here

We've all been there, done that so no piling on from me. Sometimes we overlook the easier things, refusing to believe a new part is or could be defective. Its rare but does happen from time-to-time.
