2" leveling kit?

2" leveling kit?
someone told me about a 2" leveling kit for my f150 2wd and i looked on summitracing.com but didnt find jack. was i searching for the right thing? if not what else would it be called. does anyone have any good online stores to shop from or magazines to look at? thanks

check out roughcountry.com and see what they got, before i wrecked my truck i had the 2.5 inch lift on it for the 2wd, i liked it quite nice. now that i fixed it i went even bigger and had specially made i beams that i put on. alot of trouble though, anyhow check out that website, that have alot of stuff for 2wd fords.

justin, they have a 1.5" leveling kit and a 2.5" lift. is the 1.5 the one u were talkin about?
1 more thing, has anyone ever heard of combining suspension and body lifts? is it possible?

Yes that is possible, but most people I have talked to that have put body lifts on say it wasn't worth all the work put into them.

hey mustang, how are the two lifts different, im not being sarcastic or mean im just curious. and isnt a leveling kit just a new set of springs?

from what i have learned, a leveling kit is jsut a new set of coils and nothing for the back. but i wanted to make sure that what justin was talkin aboiut is the 1.5 or the 2...

well what do you want? the front to be a little higher or the whole truck to sit a little more stout? when i put on that 2.5 lift it took a good 6 hours or so for me and my dad to do it. new springs shouldnt take long at all. just all about thwat you want

really what i wanna do is to just put 32" tires on and justin told me that i need a 2 in leveling kit to do that. well roughcountry.com has 1.5 leveling kit so i was wondering if thats what he was talkin bout.

I have a 73 f350 4x2 super camper special XLT, i to wanted to level the truck up however the lift-kits are designed for 4x4's, they tend to have a longer and moreopenly flexible stearing, I bought a basic body lift 3" from summit racing and some parts I couldnt use, for example the stearing at the knuckle before the gear box will raise however much you lift the truck in a linear movement "straight up" that one had me stumpt for a bit, so I made a gear box that would attach at the column with a gear on a chain down to another gear for the gear box , all enclosed in two pieces of 1/2 x4x6 plate bolted together with the gears and chain encased for strength and stability.
bottom line you can use the spacers but as far as stearing be-carefull on what you come up with and good luck.
