Those of you who have turn signals what are you using for tail lights, I’m still on 6V and have been searching for tail lights with dual filament bulbs that allow the brake light and turn signal function. The front park lights I plan on just converting to turn signals and not worrying about having both since I can’t locate those either.
Someone might want to verify that. I can't get to my truck at the moment to check the buib. The front parking light bulb should be readily available as well. It is a single filament bulb
I’m asusming the spring is the ground, looks as if it should fit directly in my factory socket for the front parking lights. BTW - I’m located in waterdown I noticed the Ontario in your profile.
Thanks for the link joe!
I’m looking for the complete light fixture for the tails, let me know if you guys have a source for this.

1154 is the 6v version of the more common 1157 12v dual filament tail light bulb. They fit into the same socket. Here's a link to the reproduction original tail lamp assembly for these trucks. They will have provision to allow separate stop and tail light functions. The turn signal is incorporated into the stop light circuit through the turn signal switch.

You can also change the bulb socket in the parking light housings to use a dual filament bulb and use your parking lights as turn signals. The bulb sockets are just pressed into the housings. I used '66-'77 Bronco tail light sockets in mine. I had some used ones, but you can buy them new. A 7 wire turn signal switch will allow you to convert the stock tail lights and modified parking lights to also work as turn signals.

The original socket is pressed into the parking light housing. They come out fairly easily. These will press in the housing just like the originals.

Yes, the housing is the ground thru the body. You can run a ground wire easily if you want to, I did on all my lights. When I pressed the socket into the housing, I stripped a piece of wire and put the stripped end in the hole of the housing then pressed in the socket capturing the ground wire. I crimped a ring of a terminal on the end of the wire first for security just to keep it from pulling out. The socket pressed in fairly tight ,so that probably wasn't necessary.
