Sync issue

Hi folks. Just purchased a 2020 F250 and I'm having some quirky issue with Sync I was wanting to see if anyone might know how to resolve. I keep an ipod in my console to listen to my music. If I use the USB connection as the "source" when listening, I don't get information on the screen about artist, song, album etc. Just blank with the name of the ipod visible as the source. I keep in plugged in all the time for charge purposes. Whenever the engine is restarted, the music continues play from where it last left off at. Switch to blue tooth connection and voila, all of the song information appears on the screen. The problem is I have to reestablish the blue tooth connection with the ipod every time I start the engine. Settings/Bluetooth/view devices/connect/media. It's doable but a royal PIA. Anyone know if there's a way to either get the bluetooth to reconnect whenever I start engine automatically, OR how to get song data to show up through the plug in jack? Thanks

When it comes to Bluetooth, you need to add and said device to the vehicle so it’ll know to automatically connect every time you start the vehicle and the iPod must have Bluetooth turned on.

I have an iPhone and if I keep Bluetooth turned on, it’ll automatically connect to my F150 when I start it but if I was listening to Sirius or the radio, I have to go into Sources and tap Bluetooth.

As far as the USB song info, that’s a new one for me because my info shows up via Bluetooth or USB USB when I’m using my iPhone.

Perhaps a soft reboot or master reset of the sync system might solve this problem.

Thanks. I've been debating about doing a hard reset because the soft reset hasn't solved the issue. I appreciate your response.
