Wow, this wall art is very much to my liking. More so the fact you reveal the way getting there. I'm always on the hunt for techniques which lessen the distracting aspect of new parts.

You Sir, have a nicely refined sense of taste!
Thank you for those kind words.
I am actually a little surprised that there are folks out there (in Germany no less!!) that share my taste in "art".
Art is subjective, as any crappy artist will tell you, lol. I prefer something along the lines of what you did vs. putting up an overpriced paint splash. I also consider many classic cars themselves to be "works of art", but hanging one of those on the wall would be tricky, lol
Where there's a will, there's a way...
I've seen a classic Porsche on the wall of an industrial loft, a Lamborghini Countach hung up in a residential stairwell, and this Pagani in a Miami beachfront apartment. https://www.designboom.com/design/pa...acto-06-28-18/
But I'd definitely choose the the OP's gate for the wall and leave the trucks, and supercars on all fours!
That Merc gate is gorgeous!

There was a bar in Hersey, PA that had classic cars hanging from the ceiling. Hershey, besides being known for chocolate, is the home of the Auto museum. I don't know if it is still in business.
There is a chain of restaurants called Quaker Steak and Lube that has a car motif. The ones I've been in have cars suspended from the ceiling.
