2012 E350 Rear Door
Does anyone know the size of the Torx Screw size for the UPPER striker. I have a need to remove that strike if I have to fit in some freight that won't clear it. It needs some torque strength to loosen it. I want to get a 3/8 socket for the job.

That should be a T-40 but make sure you get one impact tool duty rated or hardened. When loosening those sorts of fasteners for the first time I'll use an impact on a low-power setting---they tend to rust or seize in position and you run the risk of stripping the Torx lobes off the head.
If this is something you anticipate doing often a bit of anti-seize on the screw threads when re-assembling would help next time.
