So I'm about to swap a full floating rear axle into my '05 E350 van, replacing the stock semi-floating part. Yes I know typically the E350's came stock with the FF's but for whatever reason mine didn't--I'm told it was hit or miss during manufacture at times. Anyway......
I'm curious if my stock dog dish wheel covers will fit onto the stock wheels when the FF is installed? If not was there another part number for those that would fit? Currently I show Ford's number was/is: F2UZ-1130-D. I won't run a vehicle without wheel covers so this is kinda important before I begin the swap.
You sound like my dad. Had to have wheel covers, even if they didn't match. I understand, no one wants their nuts showing I guess....
Well yes I have shown my nuts but that's another topic for another forum--perhaps NON-Automotive Conversations or The Club?
Thanks for your input---I did respond/reply to your other comments in the Van's sub-forum.
I will add here I run the dog dish wheel covers more to keep the lugs and studs as clean and rust-free as possible---in over 12 years of using them on three different vans they've worked perfectly in that regard.
