the running boards in question
My question is: Will these running boards fit my 1956 F100 short bed? I don't have a bed or rear fenders yet, so I can't tell if they are correct. THey measure 63 in. in length. Also, any pictures of other running boards I see don't have the 2 1/4 in. holes in the sides. What application are these holes for? Thanks.
Thanks. I believe your reply is correct as I went back to the shop and looked at the boards again and see that the holes are not perfectly round so they are not a factory hole. I will weld them shut. The boards are in rough condition but i am determined to not use any aftermarket sheet metal on this build.
They look repairable..don't be afraid to start a build thread so everyone can follow... Welcome to the site too by the way..looking forward to seeing your 56
