I bought a 5” straight pipe on my 2018 f-250 6.7 powerstroke. Also already have a EZ Lynk tuner for my truck that I got from PPEI which they aren’t helping me out. I just put my straight pipe on last night and unplugged the EGR’s. I go to turn my truck on and I get a reduced engine power on my dash. I told PPEI and they told me “they don’t offer tunes for off-road or competition” which I know is BS because other people with EZ Lynk has it. I just need to know what to do about the engine power. I don’t want to drive my truck and mess it up. Please help me if u can. This is my daily driver and it’s killing me today. I need my truck running right before tomorrow if possible
A lot changed in Sept 2019. This is correct, PPEI no longer sells "no emissions" calibrations. This is the same for many of the tuning companies located in the USA.
EZ Lynk pares to the Auto agent app (WiFi or bluetooth if gen 2) where ECM/TCM calibrations are added to your account (that you used to create your Auto Agent profile) by the tuning company. The EZ lynk device does not store any calibration files. If you did not purchase any "tunes" with the EZ Lynk device, you mostly have a paperweight. If you don't have any tunes in Auto Agent, you need to put everything back to stock on your truck, probably need to clear all of the DTCs if those don't clear automatically and hope everything works again so you can drive it.
Just to clarify, did you purchase from PPEI before or after Sept 2019 when PPEI made the announcement that they would no longer sell delete tunes? If you purchased after Sept 2019, which is what I am assuming from reading your post although I could be wrong, PPEI's website has a disclaimer that the tunes are emissions on/compliant.
PPEI, Patriot Diagnostics (Spartan), and most others either stopped supporting delete tuners or went out of business entirely last year. As said above, Proven in Canada is outside the EPA's jurisdiction and could likely help you with new tuning... at a cost of course. The only guys that seem to be left in the US are deep underground and can only be reached through a friend of a friend of a friend. It's kind of like the internet sales tax loophole. We got away with it for a long time but eventually, it got closed.

What did you end up doing, I'm in a similar predicament as of today.
