I never saw anything to update mine, and don't know if it did automatically, but after the start engine and door locks disappeared last night when checking, they were still not there this morning. I rebooted the phone, and voila...all is well in the world again.
I checked Playstore last night on my Samsung and FordPass was one of about a dozen updates I had waiting for me, so I did them all. All it said was "Bug Fixes"! The Android Version 2.22.0... everything still seems to work. Lock/unlock, remote start, vehicle location... haven't tried "Find Fuel" to see if they fixed that. (Also, I have upgraded my 2019 F-450 to Sync 3.4 with the 3 Memory Stick method mentioned in another thread)
I have Android, the problem I have is it's not showing my points from buying my 2020. It shows a blank page.
My 2019 didn't show points for 3 months, so I called Ford, and was told they need to investigate since I met all conditions in their system. Said give them up to 10 business days. A month later still nothing, called, they escalate up. 2 weeks later still nothing, so I call, and this time they say I got my points and can see them on the website under my login. I checked, and they were there. Asked why they don't show on FordPass, was told Ford is aware of the issue and is working on it.
The points are still not on FordPass, and don't expect them to ever appear, but everything else seems to be working as it should. It is very poorly written app.
no, just checked. I'll give it more time, maybe just needs to catch up.

Thank you, i'll give it a month then give them a call.
As far as Android, this is a very poorly written APP. I hope the iPhone version works better.
Took delivery of a 2021 F350 yesterday. It's a basic town and back do everything work rig. Factory order. Manual windows and locks with the smaller V8, 10 speed, limited slip and locker, rear view camera. It came with the dash electronics for the phone - probably because I the spec'd rear view camera. No extended warranty. No prepaid service. Just a pickup.
What a pain in the rear at the dealership. They literally wouldn't let me leave until the phone was paired and FordPass installed and activated. But the phone wouldn't connect with FordPass. I did successfully pair the phone with the pickup. But they kept me there longer and longer saying Ford required the phone (Android) app to be active. Bunches of people wanted to get their hands on my phone to punch buttons. Before that happened I finally popped a cork and said "I'm leaving." Emphasis on "period". They wanted me to come back to finish the install. I will be back for service but I'm not letting more people punch buttons on my phone.
I/we live in the woods. There is no cell signal. We do have WIFI via satellite but I don't want to have any more IoT devices hogging my data quota and the pickup probably wouldn't be in range anyway. If I need to warm the rig I'll do it myself. I have manual door locks and on and on.
Bottom line is the commissioning process sucks. It sucks even more when the folks who should know what they are doing end up being experimental button pushers on my personal equipment. Even more, this is a farm/ranch/forest area. They should know that city people digital things just don't work reliably around here. It was obvious to me that there were other reasons for getting FordPass to work. And I am learning that my suspicions are correct.

I took Ford Pass out of my phone. I have 2 2020 F 350's. Didn't do a thing for me but drained my battery on the phone. Just another Big Brother watching over you.
I just updated the Ford Pass app on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and it finally shows mileage, fuel level, OIL LIFE %, and other info. Still no lock/unlock/remote start though . Guess I'll have to get the TCU and get it installed for that. Oh well, at least I can finally see oil life. had the truck for almost three months and I'm at 75% oil life. We'll see how it does over the next few days, weeks, months. and this is version 3.13.1 for Apple devices.
Well, this was an old thread that I started, might as well use it as it's pretty much related to FordPass. I purchased a new 2020 on 10/16. To date I still have not received the points for it. The previous 2 truck I bought it took a week or less.
I've called several times. On 11/16 they supposedly escalated it and gave me a case number. Told me to check for the points in a week. Here I am 2+ weeks out from that and no points.
So I call today. It took 20 minutes to get through. Only to be told that points are added manually and it could take 4 weeks from my escalation date. So today's answer was to call back on 12/16, one month from my escalation date (coincidentally 2 months from truck purchase date). If the points haven't been awarded by then, they will do it right then & there. After all of this dicking around and multiple calls, why couldn't it have just been done on one of my other 3 calls about the problem?
