I like the looks of the vertical bumper guards like on the picture of this 1988. I have looked for a set for my 91 and they all say they fit up to the 88 year only. My bumper looks exactly like the one in the picture with the same holes and rubber strip. Unless the bumper is a different shape, does anyone know why these won't work on the 91 bumper? Thanks Sandy
Went back and checked all the sites that I found that sell these. Looks like they end in year 1986. There are none for the 87-91 gen. So that one pictured must be from an older year?
In further checking the fitment of front bumper years is the same as the bumper guards. I think it has to do with the curve of the front fenders. Makes me wonder about the 1988 picture. Sandy
