I am looking at getting one for my Excursion. It is definitely leaking so any ideas? I see that they are discontinued? Anyone know one way or the other? This is for an 01 Excursion with the 7.3.
Supposedly Rock Auto sells FNF-024D ? Liland Global and it has a gas one and a diesel one. Anyone know if that works? Or if there is a better one to get? Preferably one that doesn't need a lot of adaptation since we can't have the car down for more than a few hours. Bike and Corvette are put away, one car at the body shop and 2 vehicles have to be on duty till everything is done.
I trust your 01 and my 05 use the same filler meaning you don't want to use the gas filler. The diesel fuel filler on mine will accommodate the truck stop nozzle which is huge, and much faster. Yee ha!
You'll have to check your build date and hopefully it is after "from 9/18/00" so you can use the cheaper of the two listings. It lists both diesel engines so you should be in fat city.
Funny story. I bought a transmission conductor plate for my MB transmission from Autozone. It was a Dorman brand. In the picture, you could see "Mercedes Benz" on the image. When I got the product, it was in a box that proudly said Dorman. Take the plate out and you see where "Mercedes Benz" was scratched out with a hot iron.
