There is a switch/plug/sensor on the side of the master cylinder.
Then the master cylinder has been replaced with a newer version, 1994 and up. I had two 1993 F150 Lightnings, on both of them the BPS was on the hydraulic line near the RABS hydraulic module.

Is the Brake Pressure Switch on yours hooked up? If it is and the recall harness is not there...disconnect the BPS immediately.

Looks like a later version replacement master cylinder, but it is not tapped for the Brake Pressure Switch like the 1994 and later versions are. As I stated before the BPS on your 1993 model year truck is located on the driver side frame rail near the RABS hydraulic module. The same type recall harness was placed there. If it is not there...disconnect the BPS switch until you can source the proper harness with a fuse and circuit modifications.

Well, I will look when the weather is better. Source the proper harness? Put a fuse in the power feed, if it is even hot anymore.
1993 was the first year for the electronic Speed Control system on these trucks. There should be two mechanisms in place to disengage the Speed Control, the Brake On/Off (BOO) switch (located on the brake pedal assembly) and the Brake Pressure Switch (BPS) located near the RABS hydraulic module on the driver side frame rail. Very odd if both failed. I hope the Speed Control recall has been performed on the OP's vehicle. If not, it's a fire waiting to happen.
weird but my 1994 F150 has a vacuum cruise control setup.
bought from old guy that bought brand new in 1994,maybe a dealer add on but this is how it came according to him
Looks like a dealer add-on to me. They used all of the older style vacuum speed control pieces. If the truck came with speed control from the factory the buttons would be on the turn signal stalk, not a separate stub sticking out of the steering column as shown in the first photo. The vacuum reservoir would also be mounted behind the driver side headlight, just like my 1992 F350. I believe that reservoir would also be made of metal not the round plastic ball.

The font on that is definitely not Ford lettering for this vintage, looks almost 70-80ish.
