Cruise Control
The cruise control on my truck no longer works because of the different steering column I have for it so today I took off the cable coming off the throttle to the devise that controls the cruise control. I was going to take off the devise however I am unsure about the vacuum line hoses. ON mine it apears to have a vacuum line running into the cab of the truck... How do I go about taking this all out?

The vacuum line going in the cab goes to the vacuum switch on the brake pedal. All it does is dump the vacuum out of the cruise system when you hit the brake, so it quickly decelerates. If you didn't have the vacuum dump, when you tap the brake, electrically the cruise control would turn off, but it would slowly lose speed as the vacuum drained away.
