After reading many other threads I can't seem to pinpoint my answer. So most days my truck has no problems starting. But on occasion it will only start if I pull the ICP connection and then it'll run fine, I plug it in and where on our merry way. Now I do have an issue where the truck has problems firing about 2300 rpms sometimes as well but I don't know if that has anything to do with this issue but it seems to be an oil injection pressure problem. Any ideas?
Stumble at high RPM could be injector orings but that would give usually hard hot starts too
What is IPR% duty cycle at cold idle vs hot idle?
If ICP is disconnected, PCM goes with default stored limp mode values when reading on scanner
The ipr has a very steady 11.50 at idle and ramps up to I believe 37 while driving. Has no issues hot starting whatsoever. I think it's the ICP as it reads super high when idling and driving. It has an issue as well when you push the clutch in while driving that the rpms with drop to 400 and then idle back up.
