Build thread for my 67 f-250

Ok so I’m 17 in high school and I’m in welding class and another student comes up to me and asks me if I want to buy a truck ( I’m known as a car nut at my school ) and well I ask what is it and he goes a 67 ford pickup and this is the pickup he showed me and I ended up buying I asked him more about it he tells me this was his grandpas truck bought new in my home town of great bend Kansas it’s a 1967 ford 3/4ton longbed pickup its a camper special package with a 4spd and a 352 the truck runs and stops the throw out bearing is shot which is the only problem with the truck I ended up buying the whole truck with the correct tailgate for 700$ which I don’t think is a bad price for a 1 owner 1967 ford pickup it also has dealer installed a/c

That's a good looking truck. In case you don't know the 1967 Ford F-100,f-250 and the f-350,s have a lot of one year only parts. You got a really good deal for only $ 700.00. If it were mine I would fix the throw out bearing and just drive like it is.

Thumbs up 67 250

To make the clutch job easier take the seat out the carpet then the cover plate over the transmission. You can have the seat repaired at the same time and clean up the interior. By having the cover off it makes it easier to pull the transmission back by using the gear shift handle while it is on the transmission jack and not on a floor jack. An extra set of hands is also a big help.
You have a diamond in the rough, good luck.

Yes, that is a good price. Your truck looks to be in pretty good shape. Congrats on the good find and saving another one from the scrap yard.

If you had the other mirror they are worth almost $700 alone.

Sweet deal, nothing half solid to be found around here at 3 times the price.
I have a pair of Ford scrip mirrors similar on my 56 F350.

From what I can see in the pictures that has got to be the easiest roll over in history.Yes the hood, headlight bezel and the grill along with the bed trim have damage or are missing .But not anything that you would think it would be like after a roll over.
