Let us know if the darker silver hides the dirt as well as the lighter one. Currently have a 99CCSB in silver and when I went to by my wife a new Exped held out for a Ingot Silver one. Want to upgrade the 99 soon but may hold off to see if lighter silver comes back.

 

Are you kidding??? Check out 5 stars report. I thought we'd see mammoth numbers of Improvement over the 6.2,... not so much. I would think we'd have seen at least 100 more horses and at LEAST 100 more lb's. of torque. But no, it's just a bunch of BLAHBLAHBLAH and HYPE.
Mustangs and Expeditions have better numbers. Sorry guys, it's just me I guess.

 

If you look at horse power and torque per cubic inch, and compare the two, the 7.3 is a dog.

 

I like the ingot better

 

Go drive the 7.3, put it in tow/haul mode then return.

During a 7.3 test drive yesterday at the dealership I looked at all the colors in person. They had a ingot silver and iconic silver Explorer or Escape or something close together, I preferred the darker iconic silver but then I was looking for a darker shade, something not as bright as ingot silver. So nothing wrong with ingot silver I was just looking for something else.

For me the best color with the Sport package is Iconic Silver.
