anyone have recent experience with the Dorman gaskets and harnesses? OEM will have to order and Riff Raff is out of stock on the harness.
I just did the passenger side with a Dorman /https://www.oreillyauto.com/search/1995/ford/f-250
They had it in stock. I’ve driven it about 600 miles, no problems. They are not really all that hard to change so I decided to go this route for now (I was a little financially challenged from Christmas) I’ll see how it goes and maybe pick up an OEM in the spring.
You may want to look on diesel o-ring’s site for the Ford ones if you want to go with them.
Ugh I hated to spend so much more money on the OEM stuff but I will thank myself now for not being stranded on the side of the road with the family and 5th wheel.
UPDATE: Received my parts from Riff Raff big shout out to them for getting them shipped as soon as I ordered them. Also, got everything back together and running great! Engine sounds smoother than before I started having the major problem, now wondering if I may have had an issue with that connector for awhile now and it finally just decided to crap out completely. Thanks to all who responded with helpful information.
