So I got around to installing these last Fri.,but didn't have time to test them out til Sunday,and all I can say is WOW!I can't believe how much of a difference a shock would make.Took a short run to town,around,and back home-about 40 mi. and the difference is night and day.My wife even noticed it immediately after we got going within about 1/4 mi. from the house.Surprising considering I've only now got about 3000 mi. on the truck.They're still set at factory setting,which I believe is at 5 on all 4 sides.Just the fact that I can actually "feel" the action versus the stockers is well....shocking(pun intended).Our roads around here aren't what I would call "bad",but they do have their place.Purposely hit some rougher spots just to see,and I am completely impressed.Don't really have much experience with aftermarket shocks for the most part,but these are definitely noticeable right out of the box.Makes driving this pig even more enjoyable,and less like a 3/4 ton truck.I went this route due to the reviews here,and $$$,and if anyone is on the fence about these I highly recommend.These are on a 2019 F250 with a 2.5" level with 35's.

When you got them, did you spray some clearcoat on them and grease the selector ****?
I run 4 in front and 3 in back. If tow boat move back to 5.

I did clear coat them....I did NOT grease the selector ****.I thought about it,but was concerned about that attracting dirt etc.?

RS999043 for the front.These are for the 2.5' level kit on the front....and they DO fit.I got mine from Shock Surplus and dude gave me $20 off which equaled the best price I found for them.
If the fronts are too soft I think my truck is more susceptible to Death Wobble and Bump Steer. I don't go less than 5 on the front. Death Wobble happened only once when the setting was a 3 I think.
This entire thread makes me want bilstein 5100 shocks... Always ran them on RAM trucks towing heavy and they just worked perfect, all the time...
Bilstein is a good shock. If they had been available at the time I probably would have gone with them. However, in retrospect, I'm glad I went with the Rancho shocks.
I and multiple members recommend greasing behind the adjustment ****, especially with consideration to the climate your based in. The plunger rusts and seizes, then people
wonder why it won’t turn and begin to use force until the plastic **** breaks. Take the small Allan head bolts out, throw some grease behind there and work it in. This was a front shock, Rancho replaced both under warranty. Prior to sending these back, I experimented to see if I could break it loose and after soaking in WD40 and using a small socket, I was able to.

Noted.I'm going to install the Fox stabilizer next,and hopefully avoid any DW issues before they happen.May experiment a bit,but on 5 all around this feels pretty good.

So far, my OEM steering stabilizer is doing the job. There is an evolving consensus that the steering stabilizer is a band-aid that treats the symptom. If you have Death Wobble and it goes away when you replace the steering stabilizer, it's possible that all you've done is mask the problem. Worn or out of spec components may need to be addressed. Yes, the steering stabilizer is one of those components, but a thorough examination of the steering and suspension system needs to take place.
Death Wobble is an inflammatory topic here. It scares the crap out of you and it is a safety issue for sure. But the vast majority of Super Duty trucks aren't experiencing Death Wobble.
