1977 f150 trans mounting problem

Hello I have a 1977 f-150 that I’m currently 460 swapping. Problem is I bought I 2wd trans instead of the original 4wd will this work? Anyone have a picture of how the trans mounts up to the crossmember? Thanks in advanced

I assume you're putting it back in a 4x4, you're going to have mount the transfer case in place of the tail housing and the mount goes on the transfer case.

???? WHAT You cant do that the tail shaft needs changed. To do this the whole case needs gutted, but unless you have the right tail housing and shaft, it still won't work. the cross member mounts on the tail housing of the trans and the frame bolts up the transfer case. I am afraid you are up $(-)1T creek with a broken paddle.

What trans did you take out?
F-250 Warhorse could probably point you in the direction of an output shaft and adapter.
