Extra Leafs?
i swapped my Dana 50 out for a 60 on my 2000 f250 and the stock 2 leaf set in the front is sagging some and i thought about taking the extra set of 2 leafs that came off the old axle and trimming the end curls off and adding them to the front ? be 4 total up there then. anyone done it? i dont have the $ to replace with new or have the stock rearched at the moment

I plowed with my 2000 F350 7.3L Super Cab DRW and changed out the factory springs for the F450 / F550 springs. I didn't like it as it gave it a nose high look and ended up doing something similar to what your thinking. Added a single leaf to the factory original OEM springs and it did the job perfectly. Even carried the 1000# snow plow for years without any issues or sagging.
