A home nightlight is plunged into a 110 volt wall socket at home . the plugin on the back side of your console is converted to 110 volt. Just plug it in and see what it does. Pretty simple. Sorry i didn't explain it too well

You are claiming a nightlight will make the Start/Stop feature from working?
Sorry i didn't
explain too clear , the plugin on back side of console is converted to 110 volts , just plug the night light in and watch it do the job.

Having something plugged into the 110v outlet keeps the inverter running. Start/stop wont engage when the inverter is running. A simple 110v phone charger works too.

Not concerned about how interesting it is; only that it works. I think this little work-around might have been leaked by someone who knew the inverter current draw with a load would disallow the auto start-stop. Super happy that works.

I have been using the cheap led night light plugged into the console receptacle for six months now. It works great.

Makes sense. A phone charger will probably only work if it has a phone plugged in to provide a load.

Auto Start/Stop Eliminator that works great

I recently purchased a 2020 Ranger and found what I think is a great solution to the auto stop/start issue. You can buy a little module that plugs into the back of the switch on your center console. It remembers the last setting you had for the auto stop/start switch. So you can still turn the auto stop/start function off or on, but if you turn it off it will remain off every time you start your truck - until you turn it back on. It's a bit pricey but is a nice clean solution that doesn't draw any power when the truck is off, doesn't require hacking into the trucks software and retains the function of the stop/start system while eliminating the annoyance of pressing the button each time you start your truck. https://www.autostopeliminator.com/c...top-eliminator. I bought mine from this same company (TRL Automotive) but through eBay.

Hello. I'm new here. Been a Ford guy all my life....although I did have to check out the competition a few times. Just got rid of a 2017 Silverado that was a piece of junk. Now driving a 2020 F150 XLT. I don't like the Auto SS and am glad I found this forum. Gonna try the night light trick tomorrow. Thank you guys.

Ok. So my truck doesn't have a 110v recepticle on the back of the console. Only 2 USB ports and a....round....cigarette lighter looking recepticle. Wondering it plugging in a male plug with phone chargers would do the same???

Think your 110V may be on dash?

I have the XLT and it doesn't have a 110V anywhere that I can find.
