If I were in your shoes, I would get a DIN faceplate adapter and standard radio harness converter, and put on of the higher quality CarPlay head units in.

They have a kit that’ll work for you and depending on which aftermarket head unit, where it’s purchased from, and if you install it yourself, you should be able to get what you want for under $1K but if you purchase everything from a local shop and let them install it, you’ll easily fall into the $1.5 - $2K range.
The catch to going aftermarket is that one must have unlimited data on his or her cell phone to take advantage of the different navigation options offered via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the aftermarket head unit.
