So unless you can monitor those and get EGT 14 in the 550F range so you can passively regen, the RPM's won't help.

I get not lugging the motor, thus hopefully producing less soot. Any chance of monitoring your temps?
No can't monitor EGT don't have gauges. Appreciate your interest!

RPMs sound low. Have you tried reteaching your ECM? Does it show any codes that don't trigger a check engine light? Do you have a tuner, etc., etc.?

Reteach? How do you Reteach ? I have unhooked the battery cables trying to get the Sync to work and it made no difference. No don't have a tuner the truck is stock. I'm not gonna spend any money on mods for it I decided. Thanks.

If I were you, I'd want a way to monitor the status of the DPF (OFF or ACTIVE), Soot Load and EGTs at the same time. Then you could see exactly what your truck is doing. You have options like the Banks iDash which is smaller, Edge makes 5" monitors, or you can use an old or your current iPhone, Android phone or tablet/iPad with apps like FORScan or Torque Pro. There's threads here and in the 6.7 section.

I enabled the DPF in my IPC with Forscan. That is what got my attention when it went from 400 mile regens to 200 miles per regen. I'm thinking maybe I'm excited about nothing only time will tell I guess.

I'm wondering if anybody else has seen in increase in the miles between regens since the winter colder weather arrived. I'm probably 80% in town with 20% 200 mile trip per month. I almost allways reach 500 miles to the forced regen. I do use Better Deisel, and Opti-lube, but during the summer my regens almost never made it to 500. Not complaining, just wondering. 2012 F250 Lariat with 175k miles.

Well, my issue may very well be fuel related but instead of seeing an increase I'm seeing a major decrease. Like I say when it goes from 400 to 500 miles between regens to 200 mile regens it does get me to wondering. Dang goofy truck. I just don't want to delete I don't want the expense and personally I don't think the POS is worth the expense and dang sure not worth the trouble. Beginning to hate this truck and all the emission junk they hang on it. Give me a good ol 7.3 any day! I mean heck a 6.7
is a nightmare to work on! 😂

work it hard and it will be better for the emissions. I have zero issues with it.
