The EEC Power Relay supplies 12 volt power to the injectors, plus the computer and a few sensors. The computer grounds the injectors to fire them - in two batches of three (unless you have a '95-'96 MAF truck).
So, from everything I've read on these forums, its sounding like the new computer board that I installed into this truck, may actually be preprogrammed for the carbureted motor, not the efi motor. Sound plausible?
More than likely a bad ground or connector. If I remember correctly the signal comes from the distributor to the ignition module, to the computer, to the injector. So check all of your connectors coming off the distributor and follow the ground wire from the injector and inspect it back to the computer. Look for loose or corroded connectors, pinched, broken, or burned wires. Also, check the grounds coming off the battery. I'm not sure if I have a wiring diagram to narrow it down for you.
