I bought a 2001 F150 with the 4.2 . It had the cel on when I bought it so I took it to Auto Zone and they ran the test and said that it was po102 code (Low voltage to the MAF sensor). My question is, how do I fix the problem.
Thanks
Joe
Hey 1965mustang.
I would start by makeing sure everything is pluged in good. Check your connections, and then have AutoZone clear the codes and see if you have a problem pop up again. Racerguy has posted some cleaning tips for the MAF Sensor. I will see if i can find the values for your truck monday.
Hey Boss,
I ran some voltage checks, as per the Janes manual, and found out that I didn't have any voltage to the wiresat the MAF connection. Then I did as you said and started doing some checks on the connection and the wires then I found the culprit.................................two cut wires about 4" down from the connection. Well, after some slicing and dicing, I've got them back togther and no cel.
Thanks alot for the help,
Joe
