I have ordered replacement fender for my 86 f350, and being a part of the great rust belt, the lower mount on the truck needs replaced before I am able to bolt it on. My inner plastic liner would not bolt to the fender anymore because the fender bottom was rusted out, but before I replace the fender I need to address where the single bottom bolt bolts in to the cab.
is there a replacement panel I can get for this section? This is about the best picture of the bottom of the fender where the bolt goes through. I need to replace the section where it bolts into the cab.
Ok I looked over my truck and that mount is part of the rocker panel.
The rocker is an upside down "U" and this mount is a right side up "U" with a hole and a speed Unut in it that the fender bolt goes into.
I did get a picture but it is hard to see the mount in the upside down "U" of the rocker with the fender & plastic liner all in place.
I do have my parts truck cab I might be able to turn on end to get a picture but I cannot lift it till maybe tomorrow because of a medical thing I had done today and cant lift / move anything heavy.
