Front Fender Liners

Hello all,

Have a 2018 F150 4x4. After doing some mud runs, took it to the car wash and noticed that the front fender liners have some slotted openings that collect mud and are almost impossible to clean out.

Has anyone come up with any ideas on how to modify the wheelwell liners to eliminate or plug the slots??

I haven't seen these yet, but, there is likely a reason for them to be slotted...perhaps instead of blocking them off, find a way to divert the water/mud away from them and in essence "protect" the opening.

I've had the same thought. There might be a purpose to them thats not obvious, maybe directs cooling air in or ??

I'll ask next time I go in for oil change and post what they say.
