Appreciate that. But I thought I'd never would have thought I'd have my own thread. I really don't deserve it...

1) Mossberg MC1sc IMHO, it appears you get a lotta gun for a cheap price. My buddy had one in his shop and I had time to play with it a little. The trigger feels great. Feels good in the hand. Now, I don't have confirmation on this, but my buddy told me that the Glock 43 mags will work in this handgun. I believe the factory mags that come with this gun are made by Elite Tactical Systems (ETS) and I have a fair amount of them for my Glock 43. I like the flat faced trigger on this gun. This has the smallest capacity with a 6 round flush mag and the 7 round extended mag.

Mossberg MC1sc Review: Better Than The Glock 43?

2) Springfield Armory HellCat Once I read about the Hellcat in NRA's Shooting Illustrated magazine, I was intrigued. I like the OSP model which is optics ready. I have never fired or had a handgun with a reflex sight on it. I have hunted and taken deer with a cheap reflex sight mounted on my HK Benelli M1 Super 90. It's the cat's @$$ to have both eyes open when shooting. I also like the 11 round flush mag and 13 round extended mag. I also like the simplicity of their factory night sights.

3) Sig Sauer P365 SAS This gun, the P365, was not on my list not that long ago. When the P365 first came out in 2018, IMHO, I did NOT AT ALL like the way the trigger felt. Plus they also had problems when it first came out. But this SAS version has a good feeling trigger. The sights are awesome but would take me some practice to get used as they are different from your traditional 3 dot sight set up. The flush mag only holds 10 rounds and it comes with a second 10 round mag. They sell an extended mag that hols 12 rounds. It also has a ported slide and barrel to reduce recoil.

I have a couple other handguns on my radar but I'll keep it short for now.
im a little late to the game on this one, but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the p365 and would buy one if I was in the market. I’d want to look real close at that SAS sight system before I “pulled the trigger” on one (pun intended). 😂

This isn't about me. This is about the country wide and world wide family I belong to. This is about my brother and sister law enforcement folks. This about the good people in the fire fighting business. This is also about all the military members who have served going all the way back to the very start of this country, to the current and future members of our military. This is about every single one who gave something and to those who gave all. This also goes out to the first responders we lost on 9/11 and the American citizens who were just going about their daily routine...God bless them all. This also goes out to the medical personnel who are by our sides on calls and putting up with what we put up with. This is for the medical people who work in the ERs and help to save lives of the crime victims and the Coppers and Firemen who get hurt. This goes out to the everyday Americans who carry concealed and acted with bravery in a moment of panic to stand up and stop an active shooter when everyone else was running away or hiding. .This goes out to anyone who serves their community in any fashion and those who stand in the face of evil to just do their job. This goes out to the ones who never came home to their families and to the ones who made it home. May God bless us all, keep us safe and give us strength and clarity if the moment of truth comes knocking. A good group to be part of, this big family of mine.

PS I forgot to mention Parole and Probation Officers, Court Officers and anyone else I forgot to mention. I just spoke with one of my sister's coworkers in the NYS Parole Office. My sister passed in 2016 from breast cancer. Her coworkers want to buy my nephew, who graduates from college this year, a gift for graduation. Her coworkers are an amazing group of people. RIP Sis....

I really like the new Hellcat from Springfield but the Mossberg is 200 dollars cheaper and works with Glock 43 mags, which I have a lot of. I want to start buying 9mm handguns as my wife will get her pistol permit at one point. I want a Glock 19 also. 9mm ammo is cheaper than 40 cal and 9mm bullet design has come a long way in terms of design and performance as compared to 40 cal and 45 ACP. what I mean is the new 9mm bullets have really good ballistics these days.
